Bursaries……..giving others a Riverview experience!

Now the largest fully-funded bursary program in Australia

78 boys on the program (up from 62 last year)
• 21 indigenous boys
• 8 African refugees
• 49 others including Old Boys’ sons, and boys not directly connected to Riverview – from both rural and city backgrounds 

There are only 2 selection criteria:

• Suitability of the boy and family
• Financial situation 

Contributions come from:

• 600 Old Boys (up 75% in 2 years) who contribute via the Class Bursary Program and the Fraser/Ramsay Appeal

• OIU

• Parents and Friends’ Association

 • Bequests

• Current and Past Parents

• Riverview staff

Bursary recipients are commonly recognised for:

• leadership, initiative and involvement in the College
• community roles they occupy at school and beyond
• giving back to the Bursar y Program  after they leave

Our target is 150 boys on bursaries by 2010
