The GPS Gold Challenge will be held at Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview, on Saturday 9 October 2010 with the golf competition conducted the day before, Friday 8 October 2010 at Ryde Parramatta Golf Club, West Ryde.  This event follows the 2008 program and will be run as a “double header” with Old Boys from both the leaving classes of 1977 and 1978 participating in separate competitions.  For the first time, Basketball will be added making a total of 9 competitions – Golf, Rowing, Tennis, Touch Rugby, Indoor Cricket, Athletics, Swimming, Basketball and Debating.  Each GPS OBU is required to nominate one a School Representative for each leaving year (i.e. 2 Representatives from each school).  In addition, the 2 School Representatives will appoint 9 Captains (i.e. 18 Captains in total from each school), to assist the organisation of their teams for the nine competitions.  Those interested in acting as a School Representative or one of the Captains should contact their Old Boys’ Union office.  More information will be emailed to the members of the 1977 and 1978 Classes during 2010.

Enquiries in the first instance should be directed to your OBU Office or to:
